Confused about what to actually filter

I want to set up a filter(s), I think at the account level within GA.

It's for a Wordpress blog, I'm not sure about what GA is tracking yet, so hoping for a bit of advice on this please.

I think that I want to exclude internal traffic, that would be activity within admin of Wordpress?
And to exclude when I visit my own blog, and anything else that I should be excluding.
