In loads of pain after putting toothpaste on my balls.

A few hours ago I was reading on the internet how not to put toothpaste on you balls as it will hurt so bad. But I went and put toothpaste on my balls anyway and it hurts so bad. It is burning and I am wondering does anyone know what I can do to stop the burning?
