How to add your wordpress blog in Google Webmaster?

Hello Friends. I have created a free blog at Wordpress site. Now I want to add that blog in my Google webmaster's account. I'm not able to verify that blog at the search console. Here I'm talking about Wordpress blog & not of Wordpress site and I have not created any website. On google's first page result i'm getting answers for adding site & not blog. I have also tried adding my free blog at blogger. I am able to add blog at blogger's but not able to add Wordpress blog. Please help. Thanks...
