Google Documents Offline Question

Okay, I have a question about Google Documents.

Let's say if I am editing a Google document offline. This means I am not connected to WiFi or anything

Will Google Documents save my work so it is live?

The reason why I ask this is because I will be working in a place with no WiFi and my friend whom already has the link to my Google Document wants to see the changes I have made.

So, will it save automatically so my friend can see?
