On the first freelance writing job that I took, I was given a list of topics I could write about. The topics were very specific, and as it turns out they were lifted off existing articles that had come out in the past couple of days.
I was then "encouraged" to collect three links about this topic, then rewrite them into my own article to submit for publication.
