Disappearing emails...help

Hi all,

Please be gentle as I'm a technical idiot....I noticed on my iPad screen that I had new email into my yahoo account, I opened yahoo and the mail wasn't there that I'd seen, where is it ? I work for myself and can't afford not to get the emails.

I have changed my password, reinstalled yahoo on the iPad after deleting it and still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.
