Google+ Custom URL doesnt make sense...

Says I am qualified for a custom url:

it says: google.com/+myname/(add more numbers or words)

If I add more numbers or words then it would look like:

http://ift.tt/1OwKKCM

not exactly a custom url if I have to Add to it....

Are you sure you want to change your page's URL to:
http://ift.tt/1IknoBm

What am i missing here?
